Resort Management

Resort Management

Yes, apparently it's true. With the right qualifications someone will actually pay you to live and work on a dive, marine, or spa resort. Shhhhh, keep it to yourself.

Our innovative Resort Management courses draw on the best features of our internationally recognised hospitality and tourism training. They allow you to become an expert in a specialised field by selecting a particular discipline to focus on; Dive, Spa or Marine.

Job prospects in resort management have never been better. Following a record number of hotel and resort investments in recent years, there's now a surge in demand for qualified staff. Because our course is so highly regarded by industry, a number of major industry partners offer students work placement and graduate opportunities in local operations and in exotic locations such as the Great Barrier Reef and international cruise ships.

The Diploma of Resort Management won Victorian Tourism Awards in the Tourism Education and Training category in 2003 and 2004 and a merit award in 2005. This shows how highly industry regards the quality of our course.

The Institute also offers a graduate program to provide a focus on the spa industry. The program is suited to people who are seeking to enter the industry, and also for those within the industry who now find a compelling need to update their knowledge and qualifications in order to further their careers.

Find out more about what our Resort Management students get up to when they study with us, and when they graduate, by visiting the Resort Management website.
