Hospitality means many things to people. William Angliss Institute recognises this, and as a result have developed Hospitality training that can be everything to everyone. Whether you are interested in managing your local café or becoming Front of House manager for an International hotel or Facility Manager of a venue, Hospitality at William Angliss Institute can take you there.

Hospitality at William Angliss Institute is a completely integrated way of learning. Instead of repeating subjects you have already completed secondary school, you can apply for study credits.

Likewise, if you significant industry experience, you can apply to our Skills Recognition Unit for subject credits. Earn While You Learn

Arte you in a hurry to get into the workforce, or do you just want to pick up a few skills or certificates? Our Gap Year Hospitality Skills Program give you the know-how to hit the ground running in as little as two weeks. It's ideal for people who want to work while they travel.

Practical hospitality skills and relevant experience

During your studies, you'll develop important practical skills and knowledge through units that include business operations; staff supervision; safety and security; stock control; marketing and financial management; restaurant, bar and kitchen operations; front office reception; accommodation services; event management; and gaming and wine studies.

You'll also gain practical experience in front-of-house operations in one of our three training restaurants.  Depending on the specialist stream you choose, you'll refine your skills in other specialist training facilities including our wine sensory room, accommodation suites and training kitchens.

Our Careers and Employment service can also set you up with lots of exciting paid and voluntary work experience including working with the Australian Open and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
