Entertainment Operations

The Course in Entertainment Operations is the latest cutting edge program designed for students to learn the art of running professional entertainment events, receive hands-on industry training and open up new career pathways through this specialist course.  Revamped in response to the changing face of industry, this new course has been designed to train students in the operations of entertainment events generally, with subjects covering both promotion and production coordination. With a focus on fashion shows and performance-style events, the course enables students to develop specialist skills in entertainment event coordination, while working on live events for top fashion labels, first class performers and internationally recognized DJs in Melbourne's premier entertainment venues.

The Course in Entertainment Operations runs for one semester and is offered on a part time basis. The intake commencing on July 14 2008 runs until the end of the semester.  Informal interviews for the 2009 programs can be arranged by contacting William Angliss Institute of TAFE 03 96062111 or email Angliss Entertainment Division Program Manager Peter Lotis Abram peterA@angliss.vic.edu.au.
