Tourism and Travel Traineeships
| Tourism traineeships have been designed to encourage businesses to employ new staff and upgrade the skills of existing employees. They combine practical work with structured training to provide a valuable and relevant nationally recognised qualification. |
 | The traineeship system involves your staff working and training over a one-to-two year period.
Offering more than your standard travel sales courses, these traineeships are designed for people who are working in travel sales and include:
- Certificate III in Tourism (International Retail Travel Sales) THT30302 - 22 units (21 core and 1 elective)
- Certificate III in Tourism (Operations) THT31002 - 17 units (8 core and 9 electives)
Upon successful completion of joint industry/William Angliss Institute delivered subjects, the trainee will also be issued with the following certificates by our training partners:
- IATA Certificate - Billing Settlement Plan
- Qantas Certificate - Standard Fares
- Qantas Certificate - Promotional Fare
and one of the following:
- CRS Certificate - Amadeus
- CRS Certificate - Galileo
- CRS Certificate - Sabre.
