National and Global Reputation

Through its involvement with national and international companies and institutions, William Angliss Institute plays an important role in driving industry standards for the hospitality, tourism, culinary and foods industries.

National Network

Operating in every Australian state, the Institute responds quickly and effectively to the training needs of national clients, providing access to localised training and funding opportunities. The Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) throughout Australia. Training partners include Gloria Jean's Coffees, Brumby's Bakeries Limited and Stamford Hotels and Resorts.

International Reputation and Reach

Internationally, the Institute has gained access to a number of important industries and large hospitality and tourism enterprises. International projects spanned China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tonga and Samoa. The Institute also regularly hosts delegations from international governments, educational organisations and industry groups.

International projects include developing competency standards, developing curriculum training materials and assessment tools, enterprise-specific training programs, English language programs for hospitality and course delivery and other consulting and advisory roles for the tourism and hospitality industries.

Offshore Operations

Around 400 students now study with William Angliss Institute in China through joint campuses in Hangzhou, Shanghai and Nanjing.  In partnership with RMIT International University, courses are also offered in Vietnam.
