FEE-HELP

It is with great pleasure that William Angliss Institute announces that FEE-HELP is now available to all students enrolled in degree-level studies at William Angliss Institute.

What is FEE-HELP?

FEE-HELP is a loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay their tuition fees for degree programs only.  FEE-HELP can cover all or part of your tuition fees. A loan fee of 20% applies to FEE-HELP loans for undergraduate courses of study. The Australian Government pays the amount of the loan directly to your higher education provider. You begin to repay your loan through the tax system once your annual income exceeds the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. In 2008, that threshold is A$39,825 p.a.

FEE-HELP for future students

If you are applying for a degree course for commencement in 2008, FEE-HELP will be available for your degree studies. Download the FEE-HELP Information 2008 booklet from www.goingtouni.gov.au for more information. The FEE-HELP Information 2008 booklet and the Request for FEE-HELP assistance form will be available at your enrolment session in January 2008.

FEE-HELP for current students

If you are a current student already enrolled in one of our degree programs, an information pack on FEE-HELP and how to apply for it will be circulated to you in the coming weeks. You can also obtain the FEE-HELP Information 2008 booklet and the Request for FEE-HELP assistance form from the Information Centre located on Ground floor, Building A.

How do you apply for FEE-HELP assistance?

You must read the booklet before completing and signing the form, and then return the form to:

Enrolment and Information Manager
William Angliss Institute of TAFE
Building A
555 La Trobe Street
Melbourne VIC 3000

The completed form must be submitted to the Information Centre on or before the census date. If you have not submitted a completed Request for FEE-HELP assistance form on or before the census date you will not be entitled to FEE-HELP assistance and the Australian Government will not pay your tuition fees.

You will need to ensure that you meet the Australian citizen or residency requirement and obtain a Tax File Number (TFN).

More information about FEE-HELP, including the FEE-HELP Information 2008 booklet can be found at www.goingtouni.gov.au.
